So I was having a conversation with a friend, and he made the comment: "I can always hope". So I got wondering about another statement. Can a person actually, hope against hope? Please give me your thoughts.

Well I think this situation is going to happen on November 7th.

TML is going to Hope that the Colts are going to beat New England in Foxboro

Mad Giggler will be hoping that the Patriots beat the Colts.

So in a way, Giggler would be hoping against TML's Hope and vice versa.

Actually, I'm working with faith at this point. I know that the Pats can beat the Colts from past experience. I've seen it happen. So, just as I have faith the sun will rise each morning, I have faith the Patriots will send Peyton Manning back to the drawing board.

Joey, on the other hand, merely has hope that the impossible will happen. Yes, Joey, someday, the sun will rise in the West.
