So, pretend I'm someone who's not watched very many episodes of "The Simpsons", and has decided to see what he's missing.

Now, envision that I tried to watch Season 01 and found the artwork and humour unbearable.

Given these constraints, where in the Simpsons chronology would you suggest I start?
