This was a long post detailing the games, but I clicked the wrong button and lost it all, and I don't have the heart to type it again. Summary: Lost, Lost, Lost. Went home.

Sideshow on :
I share Radar's condolences on your having been swept.
Ancient of Days on :
The worst part is that I didn't even really play "AoD racquetball" - I was so anxious about playing in my first tournament, I hit the height of my adrenaline rush 10 minutes before the first game started, so by the time I actually had to PLAY, my hands were shaking so bad I couldn't hold the racquet, my legs felt like jelly, and my arm had about as much strength as non-Brawny paper towels. That was REALLY frustrating for me.
I *did* see some incredible racquetball, and I got to play my first "lefty" - you honestly cannot imagine how DIFFERENT it is. If he'd been a righty, I would have crushed him like bug - but being a lefty changed the angles that balls were hitting to the extent that I was cutting the wrong direction on almost every hit. Ancient of Days on :
Lost, 8-15.
I could have easily beaten this guy any given Friday night. Lost, 1-15. A lefty. There was no way I was winning this one. Lost, 2-15. I'd bet good money this guy takes the tournament. I was actually the only person in the pool who managed to score on him. The one particularly embarrassing moment came during this game when I had actually volleyed with him to the point that I had him trapped on the right wall, and my arm was so weak that my attempt to "kill" the ball caught the left wall and dropped right into his "kill" shot. After scoring a complete rollout, he turned to me and said: "You hit it RIGHT TO ME. _ANYWHERE_ but there would have been good." Radar on :
That is so tough. At least that last guy seemed pretty cool.
