For those who read today's XKCD and said, "Huh?"

So I've been wondering ever since I saw the first trailer for the new Incredible Hulk Movie why they would redo the story so soon after pouring millions into the
Ang Lee version. I mean, it was only 2003 when that came out. The reviews were mixed, but that doesn't seem like a
good enough reason to simply write over it.

And you thought watching paint dry would be boring. Just read a few of them and see if I'm not right.

AoD, were you telling me the other night you like Death Note? I have a vague memory of you saying so... if that is
indeed the case, may I direct your attention to this comic I
found on deviant art? It made me laugh. (ps click on the image to make it bigger.)

Alright. So I hate crypti-whatevers and I just know that one of you has been keeping tabs, so who wants to tell me what
all of Haley is saying in the latest installment of OotS? I will draw you a pretty picture if you tell me!

Wren's reaction to the latest OotS:
"Well, that's just rude."

I guess everyone has noticed the lack of promised comic...but I hope everyone has also noticed the lack of
Malyss/Watchik on WoW, which means that I have been working, not goofing off. I'm having trouble with some of the
angles, (for example, I just can't seem to get Tessa's eyes aligned in one panel ;_;) and things like that, so we should
have a page at least by the next time I see you guys (wed.) Okay? I love you all.

Ok, so Sideshow and I made a trip to the Comic Book shop ( Night Flight)
during our lunch hour today. Guess what! They now have a Dragonlance Chronicles comic book
coming out on a regular basis, and they have a trade paperback comic version of the Drizzt Do'Urden origin trilogy. Maybe
I suffer from a little nostalgia when I think of those titles, but they're really what got me interested in the
role-playing universe.
It's kind of funny to think how much of a ripple they've created in the small pond of my life. I probably wouldn't
have ever played Baldur's Gate if I hadn't read the Icewind Dale trilogy (as previously covered here). If I hadn't ever
played Baldur's Gate, I definitely wouldn't have read through its rulebook and probably wouldn't have ever been
interested enough in D&D to ever play it (or at least request Joey to DM for us here at the office). If I hadn't ever
started taking an interest in D&D, I probably would have been turned off by Daboo's profile. So, maybe I'm stretching
things a bit, but at least you can understand why I'd get excited over these old books.

No comic this week. Because I've been recruited as a personal assistant for a new English teacher who is compulsively
anal about things getting done N-O-W. And so I'm in Sandy, and my computer is miles and miles and thirty minutes away,
and there won't be a comic up for...well, days, at least. I know, I know. But, what can you do?
Thursday, August 25. 2005
In case there's anyone who hasn't noticed it quite yet, I'd like to point out that the links in the top right include a
link to "Alpha Shade", probably one of the better webcomics I'm
following. For those of you interested in such, it even includes the ability to view the non-inked storyboard for any
page. I highly recommend it (and page 109 went up today! )
Plus, it shows us how cats are actually powerful magical creatures! Take *THAT*, dog people.

Okay, it's up. FINALLY. It would have been sooner except that my brother is a slave to the WoW demon in our computer and
I couldn't rip him away from it for ten hours on tuesday.
I'd just like to say:
Close up and see what her brothers are saying, yadda yadda...Another reason to close up: if you've got it huge, you can
see Tessa tearing up in the last panel, but you can't really see it from far away.
What else? Her dad is really cool. He kept the kitchen lavender after her mother died, even though he hates the
colors. He even still uses the cups that match. They got them for their wedding, you understand. You know how you give
out your room colors and everyone gives you stuff that doesn't match? Yeah, well, those cups match. And they use 'em.

New comic will be up tomorrow (tues) or wednesday. Daboo wants it up right now, but it just ain't gonna happen. I
promise PROMISE that in the future there will be regular bi-weekly updates (prolly mon's and thur's).
