My very first experience with the writings of Cory Doctorow came from his book Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom. And, as long as we're on "firsts", how about Programming from the Ground Up, a book on writing assembly for Linux? Trackbacks

I read "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" a while ago. I had one chapter of it emailed to me every day for a
few months. I really enjoyed it. Honestly, there were several parts of it that really reminded me of Captain Jack
Sparrow. I mean Iggy. I mean Maverick. I mean . . .
